Stair treads are manufactured using traditional methods. The material is slightly over 1 inch, to give some room for sanding if needed, as well as a proper fit into our mitered stringers. All returned treads come with a swoop style mitered onto the edge for a clean look, and can be ordered as a straight or 45 degree as well. Color match is always what you would expect with a handmade stair tread. This is not an imported stair tread, and manufactured in the USA. For installation, we can always route the tread to accept the riser as well. Please ask for this service, as we will need more information.
