Box newels on this page are available standard as red oak, and poplar. We also have white oak, sapeli, hickory, knotty alder, clear alder, pecan, jatoba, walnut, beech, hard maple, and more. We offer different designs based on product. We also offer custom milling for box newels, and can apply a reeded section, fluted sections, and raised and recessed panels. We offer two standard types of tops, and can ship them with two caps as well. All box newels we offer are made in the US, not imported. They are made with locking miters on the box newels, unless specified as solid. Most newels come standard with a mounting block, lag hardware, and a template to install them.
