All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Orders placed by 11AM CST will typically ship same day. We cannot be held accountable for days caused by not having the product at the time of installation. We recommend ordering and receiving your order before scheduling an installation.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
If your order exceeds 150lbs we can choose to ship on a pallet to ensure safe transport.
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers. Orders can be tracked using the carriers website, such as www.fedex.com.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to. Shipping to Canada may require extra charges such as Duty and Tax, and brokerage fee's. Please contact us for an accurate ship quote.
If an item goes on back order we will hold your order and contact you to discuss this. It is Lighted Landing's policy to not partial ship orders, and it is at the discretion of Lighted Landings and the customer to do so. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment if a partial ship is requested by the customer and authorized by Lighted Landings.
Receiving your order (FedEx Ground, Express, Overnight, USPS)
When you recieve your order via FedEx ground, it is important to count the items you recieved against the items you ordered on your invoice. You have 28 days to do a physical inventory of the products to make sure all items were recieved in good order. Any damage claims MUST be made in this time period.
Receiving your order(FedEx Freight, YRC, Central Transport, Dayton)
When you recieve your order via freight truck on a pallet, it is important to make sure all items are delivered BEFORE signing the delivery receipt. Please make sure the shrink wrap is intact and covering all of the product. If it is not, or you are missing a box, NOTE THIS DIRECTLY on the delivery reciept the freight company asks you to sign. The delivery reciept or BOL will show a "Piece count" or something similar. Make sure your order matches this. Once you sign for the freight in good order and have recieved delivery, you can inspect the items over the next 28 days to ensure there is no concealed damage. If there is please take pictures of the damage and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will process the claim.

To get a return authorization, please logon to your account on the upper left hand side of our website and find "My Account". Once you log in navigate to the "Completed Order(s)" section and click on "Return Item(s)". You will find more instructions on returning your items to Lighted Landings for a credit back to your account or credit/debit card.
Items must be delivered to us in a sellable condition in original packaging. Sometimes it is beter to return the boxes with extra packaging material, as the bubble wrap we use is deigned for a short life and will deflate over time. Returns MUST BE MADE within 45 days after you recieve your items. If damage occurs during transit back to us, you are responsible for filing the claim. Lighted Landings will not be financially responsible for missing or damaged items returned to us.
Some items can not be returned. These include special order products, and non-standard wood species.
Merchandise that has been installed or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
All returns over $100 are subject to a 15% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. For returns less than $100, we will charge a 25% restocking fee.
If your item is in new condition, you may exchange your item for a different product or for store credit. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.
